Now you see that I where I think Tarantino can really shine, dialogue. Or at least I used to feel that way. At this point I can't help but imagine Tarantino laughing at his own cleverness as he writes whenever I his characters speak.
You know a every film is not for everyone (except for The Avengers apparently) and to each his own. I didn't like it, I found it entertaining at parts, but I was always aware that I was watching a Tarantino movie and he wanted me to know how cool and movierific he was.
Inglorious Basterds worked because of that cast. No other cast. Seriously.

So I watched this and my take away is this: is it just me or does the narrator sound like an adult version of Sandy from Daria?
Me too!
Where the hell are her advisors?! I mean, I know her brand has become "girly who dates them hot guys the girlies all lurve then writes anthems about them" but seriously, this is hurting that brand for the group of fans she has who are older. I mean, everyone over 18 (possibly 16 at this point) thinks she is a little…
Whenever I need to do my kegel exercises I think of the word "fisting" and things clench up right quick.
