I actually loved that they did. I've read the book, but my heart was still pumping in my chest as it all went down.

That was such an interesting part of this series. Our exposure to the actual reporters covering the trial was of mostly thoughtful, hardworking professionals. Then we see the news graphics and over the top pieces that are actually aired and it's horrifying.

And how corrupt state officials have the derp derp local media wrapped around their fingers. Calling that press conference to broadcast a 16 year old's outrageous confession without a shred of physical evidence to support it…absolutely insane.

I honestly don't understand how they can convict two different people of the same person's murder using two different stories of how this person got killed. How is that even possible?

Yeah, somehow the guy is a total and complete idiot who leaves the woman's missing vehicle on the property "hidden" behind some branches (and not crushed in the machine on the property), yet skillfully eliminates ALL dna from the house and/or garage where supposedly there was a bloodbath?

There's something very disturbing about the brother. When he is talking about the jury just needing to watch the tape of Brendon's confession and that being the whole case…and one of the reporters asking him if he's seen the confession and he says "no." WTF.
