"So high-powered SteamOS living room machines are nice, and fun to play with, and will make many Steam customers happy," Valve writes. "But there are a lot of other Steam customers who already have perfectly great gaming hardware at home in the form of a powerful PC. The prototype we're talking about here is not meant

Instead of being upset about Simcity, people should just be playing Tropico 4 instead.

This was my initial reaction too, but it looks like each trackpad can click-in with specific input based on where your thumb is pressing down. I.e it can also double as a D-pad, and 4 more buttons. I think they need to clear this up.

This is an interesting controller, and short of kb/m, it may be the best controller for RTS and FPS gameplay. But that insane button placement in the middle is just too impractical.

You should give that series a chance. Honestly Batman is the character I like the least out of the entire pantheon created around Batman. Fundamentally his character defined as being a bad character. He's a caricature of person, since he's trapped in arrested development after the death of his parents. He does a poor

Videogames show the players perspective. Movies show the director's perspective. The medium is different, and the design must necessarily adapt.

This is just positive racism at play. Some people just think white girls are not as desirable as asian girls. Or asian men are not as desirable as white men. Sure it's based on skin color, but you can't dictate people's libido.

That's kinda awesome. I'd want one if I could afford to drop $2k+ on an eyesore like that. I don't have to study anymore, but it'd be really useful when working from home.

The benefit of this solution is:

Funny thing is, the previous clip released showed him clutching a higher caliber pistol before leaving his desk. In the clip he's actually chasing aliens he's switched to a smaller caliber pistol.

He's building up tempo. Keeps the fingers and the brain warmed up so that when speed really starts to matter, he's already moving at a fast pace. Otherwise if he stays relaxed in a relaxed mental state at the round start, he might not recognize when he's not moving fast enough to optimize his moves for maximum

I think the Clown is a local nutjob wanting to talk about aliens using his tv clown program and the Bureau wants him to shut up about martians.

Yeah seriously, I checked the calendar because I wanted to believe this was somehow an April fool's day joke.

Oh my god. I don't have any gamer friends IRL, nobody to talk to about my favorite hobby. But after watching GB features and podcasts as a GB suscriber, they've become my gamer friends. Though this might sound kinda stalkery, after listening to them talk, joke, and generally horse around week after week, even if they

You don't know what cloud computing is, or else you wouldn't be under the false impression that an online check-in requirement is a prerequisite for such a thing to function.

Cloud computing doesn't require DRM. For perspective, take a moment to ponder what what "cloud" really means?

FYI, the Mirror's Edge original score is available to listen for free on Spotify. This is the form my celebration of the announcement is taking.

That's the glorious part about AD coming back through Netflix. This means that anybody coming in to watch the new season can just go back and watch those old seasons. If AD had come back as a cable show then new viewers would never have a chance to understand half of the jokes (which is also why this season starts off

I read this article imagining this smile, because every time you see Brad Muir on giantbomb, he's wearing that wide never-ending grin on his face all the time (aside from brief pauses to drink). Life is this man's drug and he is ODing.

Boom Blox was pretty dope. No sarcasm, it was pretty fun.
