The FPS part didn't turn me off, didn't really do anything to turn me on to the game either though.
The chain of events I'm seeing here:
Well you're a dick because you only paid for your car once. I mean, just because you paid them for your car, doesn't mean they can't just take the car back right? You should be ashamed of yourself for keeping the car you paid for. The development work is a product with value that was fully paid for.
I bought a tablet after having a kid because that when I actually had a reason I couldn't use a desktop or laptop instead. One-handed Nexus 7 came in very handy. I highly recommend Kairosoft's games as they are a perfect fit for new parents because their design matches up nicely with a stop-and-go-stop-and-go…
They should just ditch the ENTIRE mass effect cast and tell a fresh story in that universe. Perhaps a brief cameo of some crew members as a nod, or a side reference to events from the game, but the whole movie should be focused only on things happening in the movie. Absolutely no visual depiction of Shepard under any…
" But Karpyshyn says the writing team walked a fine line when it came to -isms. “As an author or writer, you always want to bring that universal truth of the human condition into your work."
I think it'll drift down just like it has with prior console generations. With the PS4 they're now using middle-of-the-road PC components in it's architecture which should drop in cost pretty easily, allowing for price drops.
Rumors have it that they'll launch in the $400-450 range b/c the high price point for the PS3 set back adoption rates too sharply.
Added 5% to my offer. Consider this:
Yeah, precisely why I used "Core" instead of "Hardcore" (that and referring to myself as "Hardcore" in anyway makes me sound like some neckbearded shut-in, never liked the term. Maybe I should use "enthusiast" instead going forward).
I don't see a mass-market appeal here, but there are niches that this device can fill. I'll paint a picture: You're a core gamer who loves his hobby, and has bought all 3 consoles, and has just finished an upgrade of his gaming PC to run all the latest games at top settings. Then your son is born and your life now…
Same here, got to the water sequence and just...NOPE NOPE NOPE
You're also leaving out Batman's primary super power of "did-it-already". Thus before Superman considers fighting back, Batman had already done something to stop him from doing that.
Phil didn't say anything that wasn't true. And to be frank...Valve is a software developer, and hardware is a completely different ballgame.
I think that Walking Dead is a landmark milestone in gaming, akin to "Watchmen" in legitimizing games as art. More than simply being entertaining, the story took on some complex ideas in a way that used the unique advantage of GAMES as a medium, in a way that other mediums cannot match. Specifically, I'm talking about…
I had a blast with Alpha Protocol but it deserved all the hate it got. It was a terrible product, with great potential. It was unfinished. I would like to see a sequel done properly, because they were heading in a good direction.
I believe that due to the age of the average gamer, more studios will design story and gameplay hooks to play on parental instincts. The demographic has changed, and Telltale has broken new ground in the area of child-design in games.
This reminds me of the opening scene of Bayonetta.
Also, this is one bad guy trope I have never seen before?
