Yes, can agree to that.

Not that controversial. Most criticism among fans about 2 than 5, mostly because 5 involves the regulars in a drug gang war, the thing that most people like about The Wire.

Haha classic McNulty moment there. I love Rawls reaction to it. But yeah, the beginning is very "huh?" but the dock story gets really interesting the more it becomes about the The Greek and the supply. Amy Ryan and Chris Bauer really make up for that, though, with incredible performances, especially with Bauer.

Yeah, agree, definitely the worst.

West Wing season 4

Controversial peak season: Wire season 2.

You gotta wonder if they used that Philip Glass piano piece as a nod to BSG. The potential benefits and dangers of artificial intelligences has a theme song, apparently.

This review really should have ended with: THIS. FUCKING. SHOW.

So where does the internet come down on which clone she is most like? This brief clip tells me Cosima (the best clone obviously).

Yep. It's super hard to find an upload of the pilot. I saw it on some Russian (of course) site and used to have it bookmarked. Seemed very cool.

Good point. Could see a story beat of Faraday-Machine finally ticking off a win over Faraday-Samaritan.

That was a Tesla car. Has self driving capability built in. That wasn't the Machine drive per se.

The beginning of the season with the empty train station and Acker VO leads me to believe the Machine will survive in some capacity or has made some sort of contingency plan to reboot and escape into the wild.

Top Ten is a dream TV show. Ronald D. Moore tried to do something somewhat like (but mostly magic) but it never got past the pilot stage.

I know there are a lot of theories out there, so could someone with more knowledge than me confirm that there is a theory that Aerys was talking about burning the dead so they don't come back as zombies? Whether or not this was Bran messing with Aerys or not, it seems clear that the entire context of Bran's visions

The first season is very "case of the week" which doesn't lend itself well to binging on Netflix. A friend of mine who should be extremely interested in this show thinks it's really boring now that he's watching in on TV. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the case of the week era of POI as they felt like really

Every time something gets in the way of a cure for Cosima, I get very bummed out. There's something intrinsically good about Cosima that the other clones don't quite have. Maybe it's because she smiles out of pure joy sometimes and doesn't make rash decisions. I suppose the disease is her flaw in the way that Sarah,

Oh massively more fun Da Vinci Code. Probably because it has jokes. But I always think of it as a massive ode to Indy (in the days when more Indy wasn't a horrid possibility).

I love this movie. I've seen it about 5 or so times. It's just fun and exactly what I want out of an Indiana Jones movie.

Michael McKean needs an Emmy for this work. All of my experience with McKean is comedy related. Has he ever done drama like this before? It's fucking breathtaking to watch him inhabit this character.
