I own a ‘15 Golf TDI, 6mt. Pretty darn happy with it, especially since VW sent me a big ass check for a car I planned to keep forever anyways (82k miles and counting)

FK - After much cajoling, I finally caved in to the capitalist pleading of this “website” you associate with and white-listed it from the ad blocker that my manservant enabled. Now, that in and of itself is not a real issue. I recognize that the common folk at GMG have ads to sell and my passing glance is worth quite

Talk about gilding the lily. What drives someone to take a once in a lifetime (for most of us) event and turn it into a Mountain Dew commercial?

I could dunk in high school, but I’ve never hit a ball out of a park. So I say dunk.

I’ve driven Scat Pack and regular Hemi R/T Challengers in auto and manual, and very much prefer this car with the automatic. The manual just doesn’t fit it, even with the “smaller” engines. And I drive a lot of manual trans cars, generally I am anti-automatic. But this one is an exception.

Good point. But, tastes are fickle. I realize you only have to sell so many million dollar cars to turn a profit, but still don’t see how “asshole” is a long term winning strategy.

How does this work on a decades scale? I’m 40, I remember Magnum PI and Miami Vice and Testarossa posters. I get why people my age and older want to be a part of the Ferrari thing.
How are they cultivating the next generation of buyers with this approach? Who are the worthy and young, and why will someone who grew up
