Pulp Fiction was released in the fall of ‘94 after debuting at Cannes in May. After an amazingly long theatrical run it was finally released to VHS in September 1995.
So, a visitor to the 1994 NYAS would probably have no idea that some geek who wrote an indy film last year had a motion picture called Pulp Fiction in

sounds like a challenge

Mixed feelings that Stef got left out. On the one hand, what the hell! On the other hand, no awful windshield eyes on a 944 or Lancer.

Kept my ‘15 Golf, 80k miles on the clock and a $5k check in my pocket for the fix. Not a bad deal. The torque really can’t be beat. Zippy little car and so well balanced. If you sold it you have only yourself to blame. Sidenote, haven’t hit 50mpg since the fix, but that was a rare one anyway. Avg about 43.

CSB: Been on more than one flight landing at KCI where the stewardess says “Welcome to Kansas City, Kansas” only to be loudly corrected by several passengers.

I always found the prices on WD to be wildly out of line, but what do I know about the UK secondary market for parts and vehicles? Then they moved to US and I have to say their prices, while still “friendly,” were much closer to what I know in reality. Aside from that, it was a good show. Sounds like Velocity wants to

What 7-slotted thing is that in the gif?

Taken for a Ride was a great read.

What’s going on in that photograph? Weird wear on the knob, strange reflections, or does Ferrari have graphic designers that moonlight as 90's warez kids?

84% of the torque was available to the TDI, still an excellent handler and half the price.

I’ve used BHR before. Nice guys and they do good work for a fair price. That said, everyone in the shop is a Jalop, for good and bad, so I’m not shocked by this.

Wasn’t that basically the premise of Initial D, which brought the namesake AE86 into the modern gearhead lexicon? Dude has a shit job, but a fun car to do it it, so he finds adventures.

Had one. Good car. Awful red interior in mine. Fun dashboard. Once you got into the boost it was a nice engine. Torque steer!

As an owner of a 2015 I’m happy about this.

Now playing

Cracker. Their entire oeuvre, but especially Mr. Wrong:

You don’t appear to mention the mileage issue. Huge for TDI owners like me who bought it to drive WAY more than 15k mi/year. So if they count back 15k/yr from whenever the hell they get to my (fix not buyback) appointment it will appear I had a lot more mileage at the Sept ‘15 date than I really did.  I’m averaging

“.. if you’re a diehard V6 Mustang fan..” you’re the only one, and should revel as the last of your species.

Best Top Gear segment released all week. Looking forward to the LeBlanc TG keeping the GT guys on point.

The USAF fly an airframe after it’s out of production? Nah...
