I’m all about keeping politics off Jalopnik (Tyler really shit the bed there a few times.) BUT anyone who thinks this is political really needs to lighten the hell up. It’s humor, and it’s not the worst humor on Jalopnik either (cough*Doug*cough.)

5th gear makes sense though. You don’t want to make cars a prison. Hell you all just ran the trunk release story yesterday for chrissakes. If there was a “only when the convertible top is down” provision (and some really good failsafes) then the locks might be ok.
