Soylent Pink!
Soylent Pink!
@Kage56: Nope. I bought the first two and enjoyed them, got into Red Orchestra and then Darkest Hour (in a big way) and never left. There is just something so satisfying about crawling fifty feet along a ditch so you can pop up behind a King Tiger that has been slaughtering your tanks, and drop a messenger bag full…
@KingHippo: Rarely has so much been said so well with so little. Bravo, good sir! *Salute*
@PristineSneakers: Hey! Maybe you are on to something there; from the available evidence, perhaps they are so big that they are reducing the supply of oxygen to his brain.
@FЯeeMan: I remember when Microsoft Multimate came on a floppy and a cartridge... for the TI 99/4a.
Uh, guys? You don't have to choose one or the other. Hell, if you are a power user like me, you are probably already running both at the same time. I have Firefox as my 'working' browser, because of its vital addons, like Clippings, Lazarus, Tab Mix Plus, & Ubiquity. I use Chrome for 'temporary' tabs, from…
@selianth: No, that's what Good Eats is for; to teach you not only the steps to take to make something, but why you are taking those steps and what can happen if you don't, or do them wrong. It's the difference between knowing how to fix a failing recipe, and throwing it across the kitchen and never attempting to…
@strays2k: There is, actually; your web browser. First go to SuperCook.com, enter what you already have in your fridge and pantry (or are willing to go pick up), choose something you'd like to make, find it in the Good Eats episode list, do a Google Video search for the name of the episode, spend 20 minutes watching…
It's a nice looking build, but I share everyone else's concerns about heat. Some ideas:
When I worked in an electronics repair shop, when fixing wires that had broken at one end or another, we made new strain reliefs with four layers (1, 2, 3, & 4cm) of adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing over two cable ties (one inside the enclosure, and one outside). They were often better than the original.
@gerrit.niezen: This should do the trick. You'll be able to run Ubuntu and XP at the same time, using a common desktop.
@JimboLodisC: Oh, you've had my mom's coffee, have you? I feel your taste bud's pain. I refused to drink coffee after tasting hers once as a teen, until a caffanatic friend forced me to taste some of his. Now, I find that I like it. Not garbage like Starbucks, but I bought a Bodum travel press that makes a darn…
@The Intangible Fancy: ...and I, as well. Of course, just showing that page doesn't show the response to said coffee from a connoisseur.
@blyan-reloaded: I, too, know some scarily good console FPS players, but even they are frustrated that only the Wii has, so far, come close to offering a proper control scheme for shooters: the Wiimote + Nunchuk.
@brt312-: I can't elaborate (NDA, and all that), but look for some seriously sweet software patches (...and hardware to go with them) hitting the streets, especially during the next two quarters. If you are a true hardcore gamer, you will be getting a Move. 'Nuff said.
@NoOneSpecific: I don't have any figures, but I'll bet that the number of those that succeeded despite their lack of knowledge is far lower than the number that failed because they didn't make sure that they had the resources that they needed to succeed.
- Two, side by side, with polarized filters: 3D AR.
It is a simple fact that probably better than 95% of the system adminning under both Linux and Windows can be done from the command prompt. Fortunately for the safety and security of your system, there are no fancy GUI's with extensive, context sensitive help available for them. ...and those of us who know how a…
@mohkahn: It looks at both hue and saturation (i.e. original colours), and, if what you are trying to change is too close in colour to something you don't want to change, you will have to spend some time with the marquee/lasso/magic wand while holding down the [CTRL] or [ALT] keys to refine your selection. That…
