One easy solution to getting components off of the peg board to increase airflow is to use small-diameter plastic pipe (1/8" Pex is good, but almost anything non-conductive will do). All you need to do is cut off a piece that is twice the distance you want to lift it plus the width of the component. You then mark in

(I haven't read all of the replies, so I'm probably repeating at least a dozen people.)

It works perfectly, but if you use Gmail Manager (Great extension, BTW.), you will need to click on the GM account that you want to use first, then 'Email This' on the page that you want to send, to get it to use the right account. That is still faster than without the 'Email This' extension, but it is something to

Consolas is a very nice font... until you need linedraw or other 'IBM Extended ASCII' characters, at which point you have to switch back to Terminal or Lucida Console. (What I find interesting about Lucida Console is that the Extended ASCII characters are not found in their usual locations, but are mapped there,

People, people, people. This is no scam, and certainly not the 'Ultimate Steal'. It is simply good marketing. By making sure that MSO is the office suite that you know how to use best before you are in a position of authority in a corporate setting, guess which one you will counsel your company to spend uber-bucks

Vote: Gmail w/Gspace addon for Firefox. Over 5.6GB of storage per account and counting! You need a file splitter for files over 20MB, but that's no biggy, considering you have full folder trees, transferring between accounts is fast, and downloading/uploading is at bandwith-saturating speed.

@sirfice: Here is a good tutorial on using the open source image editor GIMP to do 'contrast blending'. (i.e. poor-man's HDR) It requires a little bit of work, but gives a good result and doesn't cost anything.

@L0neRanger: I don't know why I missed your post, but here you go!!! (If the rest of you are wondering if your's is supported, just Google cameramodel CHDK)

1) If you use 'Run as...', when the dialog box pops up, hold <DOWN> for a second or two until everything stops changing, then press <TAB> to change to the password box. Type it in and press <ENTER>. Done.

DOS Navigator's editor, hands down. I've been using it for well over a decade, and haven't come across anything that's made me want to switch. (Being part of the best file manager ever made probably has something to do with that.) Line/block mode, clipboard appending with full Windows integration,

Personally, I use the GSpace add-on for Firefox. A Gmail account is 6.7GB (and growing), and I can easily share even large files, using a file splitter. (I altered this one to make 18MB files. If you want it, you can email me at spamtrap007atgmail.com) Transfer to and from my computer is at bandwidth-saturation
