Which was, uh, the truth about seven years ago. These guys have come a long, long way from Owen Wilson vehicles.

Not so much changed as just a similar catch-22 with casting.

Between this and Iron Fist, Marvel is this close to acknowledging that the comic books they're adapting for the next few decades are just a touch outdated.

This is a hilarious idea.

Monty and a tree. Montree.

Crushing the Flame chip in the process. No hope allowed on this show!

This would be a glorious JtV crossover. Rogelio could point at Sinclair and go, "Don't trust this man! He's a robot like on that Mormon show!"

"How was that?"

Yeah, and the screenplay probably needs a few more red pages. No, blue pages…

Any word on the Myst TV series? Did Hulu drop it?

I agree with you on the tone shift.  It went from somewhat reality-based to full-blown cartoon.  I like it because while the characters are definitely more manic than before, there's a voice behind them.  I can't put my finger on it but it's sort of like how animators and cartoonists tend to put similar behaviors

Replying to dc191 below (because I can't reply to that post for some reason):  Yeah, that's probably the truth.  If Sony legally owns the characters (99.9% chance), then there's nothing Harmon can do if they want to hold on to that.

I aim to please but I am seriously throwing it out there for discussion. It's a 99% chance that this doesn't fly simply because of how copyright law works. However, if Sony only cares about making a syndicated package with no interest in anything after, why couldn't Harmon claim ownership over the characters that

It's not just the TV show.  People are reacting to the very public mistreatment of a creator.  It's a practice that happens in all industries, not just frivolous entertainment.
