Vaughn Micciche just won the WolfChase rallycross at Barker Farm in Ludlow VT overall in his 924. Rally all the things! Especially the 924 things!

I think they should just convert measured mpg’s into some arbitrary scaled value. Using as scientific a method as possible for testing, all you really obtain is a method of comparison between vehicles. Take away the “X MPGs” number and replace it with an “efficiency rating” and I think everyone would be happier.

I am more eager to drive my 944 than any of my other cars. It’s the least “valuable” car I own and the most fun.

944’s are really sweet cars to drive, I must say. I went from 911 snob to love-all-the-Porsches-guy recently and I’m very happy I kept an open mind. Balance, handling, lightness - and no nannies. Hard to beat that equation.
