I’m not sure why exactly, but when I test drove a G37 with the same VQ37 motor as the 370Z the induction noise sounded a whole lot better. I don’t know if it’s due to a difference in sound dampening material around the firewall or some other structural difference, but whatever it is the G37 sounded less rattly and

But they sound terrible with an aftermarket exhaust. I myself like the stock note and I think its ideal. But when people mod it, it just sounds terrible.

Exhaust note was the leading reason we bought an FX35. The whole thing is definitely a fashion accessory, and not incredibly useful or great. dat exhaust tho..

Personally, I love these cars, and always wonder why they are constantly shit on.

Yes, I know it’s a bit chunky and could use something like a DCT, turbo, or even a lower entry version. However, these still look good (i.e. interesting), the VQ motor is basically bulletproof, and its a great car.

The Cayman is twice as

In theory, it’s an affordable version of an Aston Martin V8 Vantage. The power to weight ratio is about the same, the layout is the same, the proportions are the same. Except for top speed, their performance envelope is shockingly similar. And they both give up a little bit of polish for a little more noise and fun.

Unlike the 350z which was bought for the most part from guys who could of purchase a corvette instead. Now many are in the hands of street racers though

Oh yeah. I went with something else, but I definitely considered C5’s. And I agree Z’s are great, let’s not bro them.

Z’s are awesome! Yes, it needs an update, and the last time I drove one was a long time ago when the headlights weren’t this sharp but they’re fun cars. Also, have you looked at C5 corvettes to satisfy your handle?

I don’t think of Z’s as being Bro-mobiles. That’s usually lifted trucks, the Z has Bro’s fo sho, but the Z casts a much wider net.

I feel like Infiniti — at least from the standpoint of design — has the best looking cars of any Japanese brand. Also, Infiniti drivers are less douchy than Acura drivers and not as old or gold-chainy as Lexus drivers. They are just better drivers.

Typical G coupe driver is also a 25-50 year old female. I suppose it's a bro car, but the same can be said for a 3 Series, C Class, or IS300. All these cars "fall into the wrong/douchey hands" once they become affordable.

The more the production version looks like this, the happier I'll be. After owning both an Infiniti and a BMW, I'd rather buy one of these than a BMW 2/3/4 series.

Interior reminds me of a newer aston martin.

i dont get where the sterotype came from, isn't that supposed to be bmws and audis?

The sad part is that here in Southern NJ, there aren't that many meatheads running around in G37 coupes or Q60s. There are an absolute ton of them screaming around town in the G35 coupes with their stance nation suspensions, dubious Eibach stickers, and brand cachet-obliterating "shocker" decals. That said, I've also

Before making more concepts, lets get some of them into production

Probably better fit for M3/4 driver, S4

You can say that about almost every BMW, no?

The g37 was such a Jalop car that bared too much hate for no reason. It was a RWD Japanese sedan (that was actually manufactured in Japan) with 300+ hp, mechanical power steering, leather as standard, and didn't even require you to pay for navigation if you didn't want or need it. How can anyone hate on that? We need

As a past owner of an 04 6mt 35 coupe, and a current owner of an 08 6mt coupe, I resent this post. Not many other cars offer the looks, features/luxury touches, and reliability of the G/Q 2 doors, at least in my experience. Perhaps you can afford more alcohol and Works wheels if your car isn't in the shop every month
