Just an FYI. I have 13 of the TP-link ones(also $14) and you had better have a beefy wifi to add more than a couple. They all work on the 2.4g and will destroy a simple free renter router form the ISP. If you really want a smart home i recommend starting with your wifi and upgrading. 100% get a mesh system.
