I have a close friend who worked in a high ranking production role on Anyone But You and they confirm both that the affair with Powell was real and that Sweeney is a MAGA asshole.

I did a short film with the mom (Leigh-Allen Baker) in the late 90's and you could see the seeds for becoming this particular brand of asshole had been planted even back then.

His IMDB bio says that he “frequently collaborated with Bryan Singer an Dan Schneider.” I’m willing to wager that doesn’t just refer to film and TV projects.

Tenet is the perfect example of the criticism of Nolan being a director who is all story and no character.

Whenefer I hear an actor trying a Jamaican accent all I hear is this

Severance is brilliant and he’s a terrific actor. I was talking specifically about significant roles in feature films (Step Brothers notwithstanding)

That jingle is annoying as hell, but I entertain myself by changing the words and singing:
Jardiance is really swell

Two takes that I’m sure will leave me completely unflamed.

My pandemic experience was bookended by The Invisible Man being the last movie I saw in the theater, and Old being the first one back.

It’s Diablo Cody, so no.

I was also let down by Lessons in Chemistry. Strong start but Brie Larson seemed to struggle with a consistent portrayal of neuroatypicality. One moment she would be unrelatable and unempathetic and the next she would be warm and fuzzy with zero sign of social awkwardness, depending on the needs of the plot.

He’s about to drop an album and someone reminded him that Jewish kids generally love Hip Hop.

I’m sorry, but Oscar falling victim to a con was a far more compelling plot line than the whole Academy vs. Met drama, and to have it undermined by a literal deus ex machina like that was just disappointingly lazy.

‘Night, Mother is a downer of a play.

Natasha Lyonne’s Old Navy commercials have squandered all the good will she built up with Russian Doll and Poker Face.

I haven’t served in 25 years and I still have the “waiter’s nightmare.” That episode fucked me up.

A case could be made for Munch as Tin Man. Witt as the Cowardly Lion?

Wayne is Scarecrow. Tougher call is who the Tin Man would be as there is no shortage of heartless characters.

Can he do us all a favor and bury himself along with it?
