Yep. Allegiant was hot garbage rotting in the summer sun. The book was by far the weakest of the three. It did not need to be split up at all.

The books were garbage, especially the third. And then the movies were worse! Went to see Divergent in theatres with a friend and decided to not waste my any more of my time or money after that. Can’t believe they tried to milk two movies out of the third book.

I’m just glad her explanation had some candor.

LOl, Allegiant was the 3rd movie. That’s how forgettable these have been. The 2nd was Insurgent. They split the third book into 2 films trying to get more money. Whoopsies on their part.

In terms of post-apocalyptic young adult TV shows, I recommend The 3%, which is a Brazilian show that Netflix picked up. It’s actually pretty great! And it’s really refreshing to see a Hunger Games concept from a non-American perspective.
