If anyone is interested, here is an excellent article about what NNAF does.

Yes! I’m not Indian but I trained in India, and we got 2 white t-shirts and 2 pairs of sturdy white pants each and had to hand wash them daily. Fuck a $90 pair of designer leggings, they’d get destroyed in a week’s time.

I’m the chick in the back wearing pajama pants and whatever t-shirt was handy. Yoga couture is hilariously awful.

This Indian would like this story filed to “white people ruin everything.”

This isn’t entirely related, but it’s funny how the “yoga community” doesn’t have one single Indian. I hate that it’s become so associated with upper middle class white women and their “wellness” moment.

Plus she was the best part/only good part of the ill-fated V reboot. I watched that horrible, horrible show just for her.

Also Morena Baccarin is most notable for Inara on Firefly

I see where you are coming from. I really do.

You need to trim the excess really close to the seam - with probably even a few nicks right down to the seam. And then I’d use some thin’ish implement to push it through like the others are suggesting. Good luck and be careful! It’s a gorgeous design and I’m sure you’ll have a narwhale of a time finishing it.

I usually used a dibber (basically a long sharpened stick, like a bamboo skewer or similar) to turn anything finicky, like a collar point or ties for a skirt, etc. It takes some patience (and usually some cursing on my part) but it does the job!

Here is how my pants from last week turned out:

Hmmm. What about some little pliers? Or like eyebrow tweezers to reach in and grasp the inside and pull out? These are adorable, there must be a way to do it.

Craft Thread!!

Your friend sounds almost aggressively uninformed about movies. I know people have other hobbies, but...yeesh.

Perhaps put it on a gift card to Bed, Bath, and Beyond? And add a couple of their 20% off coupons. She’ll need a lot of stuff, and that way she can stock up her room without trying to fit everything into her suitcases for the trip east. And maybe one of those advice books geared towards college students? It’s awesome

God, I have so much to say about this. I have silver glitter deer picks that go in my front door wreath. I own the station wagon with the tree on top ornament. And I almost bought that EXACT jellyfish ornament at the beach last week because my son got stung by a jellyfish and I thought it would be a fun reminder?

Now stop it.
