It doesn’t make you bandwagon at all, it makes you a fan of good basketball. There’s certain teams I make a point to watch (especially when they play each other as I know it’ll be a good game) and Warriors is one of those teams, along with the Spurs. And I pretty much do the same, root for them except against my squad.
The best way I’ve heard The Who described was, “three musical geniuses and Roger Daltry.”
God damn, that play in the top video. I might watch it a hundred times tonight. Basketball is the best, most beautiful sport.
“I resign effective immediatley”
$10 says he eats it.
I saw the Stones on their Voodoo Lounge tour in ‘93, I think. I was laughing because Ronnie Wood walked across the stage and everybody was cheering. It was like Oh, wow, he can still play and walk at the same time. And it’s over 20 years later and they’re still touring.
Zak Starkey does an amazing job on the drums, and Keith Moon taught him. Entwhistle was a good, solid bassist, but not irreplaceable. The Who was always Townshend and Daltrey at its core, and when they get together it’s still incredible.
wow, that is sad and paranoid.
I don’t joke about stuff like this. I don’t exactly find domestic violence funny.
I was flipping around the telly just yesterday morning, and HBO had a Who concert of very recent vintage... good on ‘um for having a go, but- as a die-hard fan since, well, forever- I thought it sounded awful. Daltrey’s contribution was all about range, and it’s just gone. Trying to work around it is near to…
Stop being so idiotic. Thanks.
I have seen a number of 60's bands and the musicians seemed to really enjoy the opportunity to play for stadiums. I have never been disappointed with the quality of sound or anything.
Like most other celebs, Magic doesn't actually tweet himself, he gets one of his aids to do it for him.
Awww :) If anyone deserves happiness it’s Tig. I recently saw her documentary on Netflix and was hoping she would be able to be a parent one day - it was heartbreaking to see her struggle thus far.
This story reads like this: Orney bloggers unite with old timers and try their best to justify pointless exsitence and useless jobs.
Adding more randomness to the issue, I just read that there’s not actually a rule against a coin flip that doesn’t actually flip, and that the ref last night acted out of “basic fairness.” Who knows what percentage of refs would do the same in that situation? Probably almost all of them, at least after this, but…
Fuck college OT. It’s fun to watch, but they’re playing by a completely different set of rules than the game they just spent 4 quarters participating in.
That game was like sex, if sex included Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth watching you the whole time and getting completely flabbergasted by what they were seeing.
I sympathize with these guys, except the Lee douche who feels entitled to a fertile young thing (FYT) but is worried his friends will judge him. Why not? It sucks when you’re getting older and all your friends are partnering up and starting families and everyone at bars and shows is younger than you and you realize…
