Tanks for nootin.

Despite “capitalism being smart that way,” businesses and industries fail all the time.

I think you’re probably right, and that’s not a criticism of the genre or its fans. I’m just more of a sci-fi guy.

“Matt Damon is gunning for an Oscar for his role in the extremely overrated film The Martian.”

It’s not about “figuring it out.” Sometimes, situations are fundamentally unsustainable. In fact, lots of companies can’t generate enough revenue to pay their employees. They go out of business since the employees refuse to work for free.

I’m just not willing to rule out racism, like you seem eager to do. There’s a difference.

I don’t know. It’s probably not a question that’s not definitively answerable and so we’re just left to speculate.

*sigh*

I love that Billy thinks athletic departments (which are essentially businesses that can attract very talented and experienced employees) are just like, “Ooooooh! Stickers pretty. Gimmee $1,000,000 of them!”

I don’t know what’s worse, your reading comprehension, your understanding of statistics or your typing.

I don’t know that it’s proof that Kelly’s racist, but if you’re the whitest team in the league, and have 20% more white players than the next whitest team, it’s not likely that’s due to chance.

Like many people, I’m in favor of the the idea of paying college athletes, but there’s really no way to do it fairly.

Really? This validates my complete lack of interest in fantasy.

Followed by them bringing peace to Westeros after embarking on a Ping Pong diplomacy tour. I might start watching again.

Great song, but isn’t that riff lifted from Hazy Shade of Winter?

The boiled leather! Tell me about the boiled leather. And the motley. Oh, the motley!

Whatever happens, I just hope we get lots more of Daenerys wandering from town to town, and John wandering around the North, and Arya wandering all over Westeros and Bran wandering wherever the fuck he’s been wandering.

Jenner: “Bro, I love your stubble.”

Cupping is like chiropractic, in that some people swear by it, despite there being no scientific evidence of its benefits.

Thanks. I disagree with the majority of what you wrote, but that’s okay.
