Well, I SAID that his fielding was top notch and has saved a few runs, but I think either interpretation is fair, thus making me twice as correct!

Excellent point. Just edited
I got yelled at by some dipshit commenter last week when I said that Heyward has probably saved 3 runs from happening in the postseason so far. I am now Internet Smug in my rightness
He did say “almost”
Lookit that thing around his neck! Is that a tie or a tablecloth???
“He’ll be like the Velvet Underground or Guided By Voices of 2000s receivers”
They’ve gotten REALLY bad about showing ads every five seconds. Definitely doesn’t help things.
I have yet to hear from any major sports media the real reason why the NFL is facing such steeply declining ratings: the over-adjudication of EVERY TINY THING in the game. The refs blow their whistle every two seconds, and it’s utterly killing my enjoyment of the game.
Ellie. You’re riding the NYC Public Subway. You’re already dealing with far more disgusting things than people coughing into their fist.
Baaaaaahahahahahaha, this is basically the reason why I refuse to buy jerseys. I’m a Packer fan too, fwiw
Excellent. Now give me a new Outrun and I’ll be a happy camper

WHOA that ramped up FAST

A deep voice comes through the radio: “Are you washed in the blood of the lamb?” Then cuts back to the station. He turns around to see if it happens again:…
Not even close. Cubs fan all the way. But I love one-tool pitchers
It’s not a timing thing, it’s making sure that the time spent is tense and dramatic. I was more bored with the countless throws to first to keep runners in check, not to mention how much both teams called time between pitches.
Wasn’t that the same inning that Perez called time TWICE between pitches? WHOLLLLE lotta lollygagging by the Tribe too
