I mean, if you’re going the beer route for a celebration, go with the ol’ Stone Cold special.

No worries, man. I was more of an ass than I meant to be. Sorry about that.
Oh shit, got me. Highly emotional, outsized responses to even the gentlest of criticism is fanboy behavior. It’s bullshit when Sony fans do it, it’s shitty when Microsoft fans do it, and it’s shitty when Nintendo fans do it. Fuck not calling it out because it hurts your feelings.
It’s called a Pro controller, not just a controller, implying it will be an optional extra. The Pro controller for the Wii U is an optional extra. Hell, a Wiimote for the Wii U is an optional extra. The Classic controller for the Wii was an optional extra. Nintendo isn’t in the habit of including traditional…
That’s true, but we can use what we know with the Wii U, where the Pro controller is an optional extra, and extrapolate that the Pro controller for the Switch will most likely be extra.
My day one controller worked well for quite a while, but the down on the D pad eventually stopped working. I replaced it with the Master Chief controller, which has been my least favorite controller to date. The triggers got squeaky after about a week, and now I’ve got pretty bad stick drift on the right analog stick.…
I don’t think this is the remastered version, though. Not a lot of point on a 720p screen, and there’s almost no chance Nintendo would allow mods, which is a huge part of the marketing of Skyrim Remastered.
I agree. I think $250 is the top end of what non-Nintendo fans will be willing to spend, especially with the PS4 Pro a few months old and Scorpio on the horizon. Nintendo should be praying between now and launch that Microsoft announces the Scorpio price, because until I know what that’s going to cost me, I’m not…
I don’t think that’s even the remastered version. It’s old ass Skyrim that couldn’t run worth a damn on PS3 (though in fairness, that was more about the Cell processor than a lack of raw power).
Does the base station provide extra power? I don’t remember reading that anywhere. It seems more like a laptop dock than something like the Alienware graphics amplifier.
Nintendo is is financial trouble and has been for quite a while. The 3DS kept them afloat last gen, but they’re not doing what could be called great by any objective measure. Since FY2012, they’ve had one profitable year, and a lot of that was a favorable exchange rate. So far this FY they’re down something like $48m.…
There’s a picture of the pro controller in the article. If you scroll directly to the comments, you deserve to be misled. That controller, by the way, is an optional extra, so criticizing the *included* controllers for being too small is completely valid.
Jesus Christ you Nintendo fanboys are the touchiest gamers on the internet. He points out genuine concerns about this console, things that are going to give pause to mainstream gamers, and your panties are so bunched up that you dismiss him as a troll. I hate to break it to you cupcake, but if you want Nintendo to…
How big is the screen? In some shots it looks like a small tablet, but in others it looks phablet sized. Given how offensively tiny the *included* controllers are, I think it’s probably the latter.
Or he’s judging the console based on what’ll be in the box. That there’s a $40 optional adult sized controller (that we don’t know will work outside of the base station) doesn’t change that the included controllers are ridiculously small.
I think Hillary does genuinely want what’s best for the country, but whether that’s her primary motivation or secondary to power, influence, and prestige, I’m not as sure. I have no qualms about voting for her given the alternative, but she wouldn’t have been my first choice.
That’s not even getting into the actual mechanics of being a letter carrier. Those guys have next to zero free time for anything, let alone to open hundreds of ballots, filter the ones voting for Trump, reseal the others, then dispose of the Trump ballots. I’ve heard a carrier get reprimanded for driving a mile out of…
“I shall fetch a rug.”
I don’t consider having to occasionally make moral compromises to be a disqualifier. There are going to be decisions time to time in a life of public service that are hard to sleep with. I don’t expect my politicians to get everything right, especially at the presidential level. For me, coming at it in good faith is a…
I’m coming up blank on the fifth serious candidate (and entirely skipping over whether Stein and Johnson are serious candidates).
