Like you, at the time we all lived and breathed Twin Peaks. Was it worth the effort? Difficult to say for sure, but now hoping there will be some sort of resolution and explanation to some of the narrative.

Completely agree. But as I've asked of others, has Lynch done the right thing returning to Twin Peaks? Can anything ever be resolved? Should he have just left things as they stood?

As you say, some of the second season lost its way with all the sub-plots, but perhaps the forthcoming series will resolve some of zither loose ends.

I agree…Lynch really is an 'auteur'. But, has he done the right thing returning to Twin Peaks after 25 years? Will there be a 'meaningful' conclusion? Or will it be just more of the same?

I'm 57 years old, saw it first time round and thought it was great. Now I'm in a TV Studies module at my local university with students of 18 to 20, the majority of which just don't 'get it'. Perhaps it was of its time, though without it happening many current TV series would never have come to be made.

What about Twin Peaks? I followed it all the way through when it was originally aired. Style over substance perhaps, but ground-breaking at the time. On impulse I bought the complete box set a few years back but to this day it remains unopened - perhaps now is the time to give it a second spin with the new series up
