This is late, but I just have to add hear, that last night I was playing Deus Ex while catching up on the expanse, only to discover in this thread after looking him up that he is also the voice of Adam Jensen, the main character….

Unfortunately, that's the only thing keeping my hooked/ Like I am very curious to see where the story is heading, but it's just spinning it's wheels and wasting time as far as "plot" goes. I just want to know "WHAT IS GOING ON!?"

Oh, was there a melon in the yellow crate? I was SOO confused at that scene, because I had NO idea what they were talking about. I thought Morgan was mad at Richard because he had said "go ahead do it". Which really wouldn't have made Ben's death his fault…

I was kind of hoping it would have been just for show to trick the saviours, and also save some face. Morgan was completely justified in killing Richard, and Richard did deserve to die, but I was just hoping there was something a little smarter at play than just rage. If Morgan is going to switch over to violence

Why are you wasting your time in a thread for a show you clearly seem to dislike? Are there not discussions of better shows you could spend your time in?

Except, they then pointed out that "The AR15 is used specifically be this squad of goons" (even though its one of the most popular rifles in America..), and yet that squad of goons has automatic weapons. Which they AR 15 does not do out of the box. How's that for "keeping it accurate"…

Diggle pointing out the AR15 was ridiculous and super preachy. It's literally one of the most common types of rifles in America. And there is really nothing special about it. Thing is, most of the villains in the show use automatic weapons, which the AR15 doesnt even do. I got so angry at Diggle for being the

The irony that, that's exactly how the episode ended…

The proper way to have concluded that scene would be for him to go for the safe, and find it empty (because she threw it away or something), and then the guy kills his wife. Him actually getting the gun out of the safe and still getting shot did nothing to justify his stance on the issue.

IF anything this episode gave me less respect for Curtis. He goes out every night fighting bad guys with 2 superheroes whose powers are "gun ownership". Why has he never taken a stance on this issue before? And I'm sure it will never come up again. He was the easiest mouthpiece for the writers to push their bias.

It was pandering to both sides. They want to take a stand, but not actually take a stand and risk alienating viewers (especially considering their show glorifies gun violence). It was basically "We solved it, aren't we great? *end credits*"

Im a little late to the party, but this episode infuriated me for the same reasons. I actually liked the scenes where the Senator and Oliver were discussing the issue. But the Rene and Curtis arguments were horrid and ridiculous. Showing countering viewpoints is fine, but when they've never been character traits

That was the part hat pissed me off the most. They have all of these straw man arguments. And then wrap everything up by claiming "Its ok guys we solved it and made everyone happy!" as though the issue has ever been or ever will be that easy.

Curtis is a huge hypocrite. He goes out every night to fight "bad guys" with 2 "heroes" whose main power is gun ownership. If he actually felt that strongly, why would he ever align himself with such people?

This episodes obvious bias about gun ownership was infuriating. The only
pro gun" argument they could muster was actually also a situation where guns made things worse.

Curtis goes out every night to illegally take down bad guys with 2 "superheroes" whose powers are "gun having". He's a hypocrite of the highest order for making such a stink in this episode He literally is jsut a straw man to try and make a political point that the writers hold, and honestly this whole episode was a

I was really hoping that the random belittled woman in glasses from the previous episode would turn out to be Crimnson Fox. Something that would have been a genius subtle gag to play on for multiple episodes making fun of the trope of superheroes often being mild mannered office workers wearing glasses.

Her character is basically a direct ripoff of Pam. Except Pam is funny :/

I thought that was a really weird reference too. It's going to get tedious when they have an entire DC universe to pull from but they just keep name calling the same 4 heroes, because that's all people know.

Ya, Its going to get pretty tedious if Ron's go to joke is about him being black constantly. Especially considering they've already said he's Atlantean. It was a silly throw away joke, but it also means that his offense at jokes relating to slavery make no sense.
