I'm going to have to disagree as I have seen plenty of evidence that all npc's do have working poise. Take the silver knights in Anor Londo for example. I use a flamberge and if I hit one with a one hand attack after avoiding their attack they will not stagger. When I switch to two handed each hit knocks them around,

Souls didn't have ripostes? You clearly have no idea what you're talking about, the had it since the very beginning in Demon's Souls. Go back to Bloodborne.

Have you even play the game? You actually cross paths with Havel (or an npc in the armor at least) and he definitely earns his nickname "The Rock" because he has insanely high poise that can take hits from a greatsword without even flinching. Try wearing the same armor and see if you can do that. No matter how much

If they did in fact change one of the core mechanics of a Souls game due to influence from Bloodborne then they made a mistake. When I bought DS3 I was expecting a Souls game, not Bloodsouls/Soulsborne.
