The Transit Connect is based on Ford’s Global C platform, the Maverick is based on the C2 platform. There are similarities between the two chassis but they aren’t the same.

Except a lot of them are taller now. Hood lines and bed lines seem to be a lot higher, and probably seating positions (because people like to sit up higher to feel like they're in control).

The Ridgeline has always been relatively expensive and niche. It starts over $37k. Beating it should be pretty easy.
