@OkayOctane: 'Games for Windows' is a completely different thing than 'Games for Windows Live'.

@Kenny: Where does it say Games for Windows Live? I cant see it.

@SG-17: I agree. It can be done right. Even Assassin's Creed BroHo has managed to get it right.

Like Luke, I am one of the many people who have little or no interest in multiplayer gaming and that's the way it's gonna be for me. As far as I can see it. There is the odd game that does manage to capture my attention for long enough to plough 20 hours of online play into it. But that's all. I dont 'do' DLC most of

@arcanehalloween: I enjoyed my playthroughs of that game, up until my save got corrupted.

Damn, I would have gone. But I'm in work until 9. Shame.

Now, this is a Tim Rogers article that I'm more than happy to read through. Good stuff.

So the Mac version is cheaper than the PC Steam version. Hmmm.

Any word on iphone/ipod touch restrictions? i.e. 2G/3G etc

@Altima NEO: Trish is a constant presence in his night/day notes. If it's about his experiences/incidents which are non gaming related, then it's a sure fire bet that she'll get a mention.

Isn't there some law out that states that once you are in possession of someone's property for exactly one year and a day, you have a legal claim to it?

@SirNinja: I've yet to have a positive experience with Steam Support. Waiting days for them to get back to you, not addressing your problem and being occasionally rude to me is not great for a company with so many users. Surely they can do better. But hey, I'm just one in some tens-of-millions of users.

@iRant: And what happens when retailers stop selling games that require Steam?

@Kobun: Not to mention the price of new games on Steam too.

@axh9096: I find it funny too. Suppose it goes to show how much they missed out on the MW2 sales. Shame. Because I think they have a valid point, even though I love Steam too.

@axh9096: Sure they are selling Fallout New Vegas, Civ 5 too through D2D

@Dominic Corona: You obviously didn't try to get it when it first came out then. Because, if you did, then the game would have been priced somewhere around $50 or more. That there is the reason why everything that could happen outlined above is bad for the consumer. Sure the sales are great. But if you want a game on

@sander_dutch: I'm one of those people who like to do that. Pricing is Fucked up on Steam here in the EU.
