I wish I could promote some of these threads. :( Some really valid points being made here.

This is something that I've been fearing for a long time now. I LOVE Steam, and ALMOST everything about it. I love what it has done for PC gaming. But there is such thing as becoming too big.

Ha. Imagine a Kotaku Review Event. It would just be a load of their commenter lining up, one after another, wanting to bitch about the new review format! What an event that would be!

I got my girlfriend playing with the Move the other day. She declined to play resident evil 5 with it (surprise, surprise), so she agreed to give Tumble a go.

The layout of that poster looks very similar to the ones you did for your guides to FPS/strategy games etc.

You are the controller?

They need to make the actual earpiece smaller. My old one, and it looks like it will be the same with this one, gave me earache because the piece that fits in your ear is too big..

As long as this patch doesn't feck up my save game I'll be fairly happy with that.

@foofad: You sir, are very right. They are essentially the same tech. I did a Masters Thesis on the use of LiDAR to measure movements of retaining walls. And the specific LiDAR equipment used a ~500 nM green laser. The only difference that I know of between LaDAR and LiDAR is the context in which it is used.

@Kent Clark: Which? the comment you have gone back to an inserted all the punctuation into?

@Kent Clark: Are you using reverse-reverse psychology on me? Cause if you are, it's not working!

@Kent Clark: I dont believe for one second that this is Luke. No way, I'm not falling for that this time!

Does anyone know if this sorts out the unlimited time in the armory glitch?

The map may be smaller, but there is way more stuff to do/find in New Vegas compared to Fallout 3. I must have 20 missions active. It's killing me. And im only after getting onto the strip.

@Zhris: It's weird at first sight. I know. But hey, the 360 controller is pretty comfortable. Makes sense....kinda.

@dowingba: That's the only one that I've seen say that it's US only. I dont think it was part of the monthoffreebies contests. In the first one, when they were giving away the Halo Reach special edition

@dowingba: To be honest, I'm not so sure. There was a Gawker contest that strictly said only US citizens. I'll have a look back through the competitions to see if they do indeed stipulate that it in US only. Hope not.

I mentioned this a couple of days ago. PC gamer have been recommending that anyone with access to a Source engine game (Half Life 2, TF2 etc) and have a yerning for the classic N64 shooter GoldenEye should check out GoldenEye:Source.

@arionfrost: Looking forward to it! Speaking of which. Gots to get back to it. Vegas, here i come.

@Metsuna: It's really more of the same, and then some.
