Pontiac put them on top of the gas tank. Odd spot, but some have still made it from the 60's/70's to just recently.

Not my car, but my uncle’s car. They were all jokesters.
I had some success with Bike Bandit a few decades ago, before they were first sold. Moved on to Revzilla as they seemed less prone to issues, and better prices. Too bad, as it looks like they were just sold to the wrong people.
most replies: This is OK, as long as it doesn’t apply to me.
I have one to add here. Pulled a 35' 5th wheel enclosed car hauler with crew cab dually diesel to Chicago. Dropped off car, went a little ways away to designated trailer parking, parked truck in parking garage. Well, FIL did. He’s been driving big trucks for decades. Construction company owner. Anyhow, he asked me to…
I’ve been to three Kia dealerships, ending up with two Tellurides. Been in and out, no muss, no fuss. I’m on a telluride owner’s forum on FB, and the horror stories...wow. But there are good and bad with all dealerships. Years ago I was at a local Ford dealership, in and out of used cars, had one for a couple of…
Drove one for a year or two. Gutless after 55. With a headwind, 50. Never went off-roading, but it was narrow enough to go places that no 4 wheeled vehicle should go. It wasn’t worth 10k when new. Off the lot new. sure, it’s fun for around town, probably on a beach somewhere as it’s light enough that you won’t sink in…
Looks cool. Not worth that price tag, or the extra weight the barnwood would have. I wouldn’t want that extra weight, which could be an issue if you want to go off-road camping.
Well, BMW is seen as a rich mans toy that belongs more on a racetrack then at the local watering hole. The ‘busa is technically a sport-tourer and can do long distance riding. It’s big, fast, comfortable, fast, and not seen as a long distance bike like the Gold Wing, Road King, or BMW’s K-line, but it will do the job.…
Nice car, will get some looks, looks like it would be a blast to drive....if you could afford that over-priced ride.
So now you have hair, that was destined for a bird nest or landfill. Now we have oil-soaked hair, destined to be hazardous material. I guess something has to be hazardous. Then what happens to it?
Rock Ridge...isn’t that where The Waco Kid is from?
Whatever new car I just bought. Didn’t see that many 4Runners when I had one. Boom all over the place. Kia Telluride. Bout one, boom, all over the place. I think it happens with just about everyone. Don’t see too many on the road, nice car, good car, buy it as there aren’t that many around and boom - all over.…
This was talked about locally on air (radio) as well. Some interesting stories were told, including a lady who had lost her husband years ago. A load of pipes was picked up in Burlington, IA and delivered to Tennessee. At the destination, when the driver went to remove the straps, the entire load shifted and he was…
1975 Ford Maverick. Light blue, 4 door, two options: Power steering, auto. 250CID V6. lovingly named the blue bomber.
I took off the double wipers from the late 80's and put the factory looking single wipers on the then GF’s Samurai. The motor could barely move the wipers. And the motor in the car barely moved the vehicle, too. So some dumbass says they put them on at some point, that is the worst.
Easily swapped.
Ford Fairmont. Parents had two, neighbor had 1.
Who says it runs on dinosaur juice? Maybe the good doctor did find an alternative fuel that ICE could run on, be renewable, quickly filled, and use as an explosive if warranted. And maybe even easier on the environment then digging up bad minerals. Or the minerals are no longer available to make batteries.
Mercury (cars) made a V12.
