I’ve seen goldwings from the mid 90's with well over 150k. And a lot fewer issues than you’d think.

pro: weather tech liners, never been off road, miles
same. More of a 400RR, but a CBR250RR would be a blast in the city.
Your rights end where min start. I have that right of being healthy, and there is a good chance you will not give me that right.
I *really* wish I could find the article on one of my FIL’s cars. There was a web site that had it, “that wagon” or “that car” that was in Oregon, which is a PHS documented 1-of-1 1963 Catalina Safari. How it came to be was an average Joe wanted a SD (Super Duty) wagon, but the powers of Pontiac would not build it or…
HAhahahahahahaha...this god awful thing is hideous. this is way beyond ND, or CP, or any other dice pipe.
1st Gear: And the Kia dealerships are making even more of a killing! With some dealers charging anywhere between $2500 to $10,000 *OVER* MSRP for the Telluride...some can’t keep them on the lots while others sit. Mine has been a nice car, so far, but another $10k I might as well have bought an Explorer or 4Runner.
$700 winter driver to keep the salt off the nice car. Heat stuck on high? perfect. A/C doesn’t work...might cause an issue for the defrost. Uses a quart every 3000 miles? I’ve had worse. need to keep the trunk dry? maybe replace the seal. Easy. NP...for a winter beater.
Parts for these were expensive when new. Mirrors were over $500 - if my memory serves me correctly. Mirrors are always the first to go when an unexpected horizontal parking happens.
Many years ago, driving a back road to see then GF, came over the crest of the hill, probably around 40MPH, and hit ice as it was partially covered from the sun by a row of trees. I went into the ravine sideways in my dad’s 86 Toyota 4x4. Didn’t hit anything, didn’t roll it, but I wasn’t going anywhere. I jumped out,…
Your hands are a lot of everyone’s job. Protect them the best you can. I’ve always worn gloves, even in the hot, humid midwest summers. I don’t like the black residue gummy feeling that not wearing them leaves behind on my hands.
This would work great at urban schools. Rural might be a stretch. We had some bus drivers that would do their route, meet up with other busses at the grade schools, and all the kids would either go to that grade school, or get on the other bus/busses that would take them on to the Jr High/Middle and high school. That…
Ouch. Talk about taking a hit after driving one off the lot.
Had a Colorado with the 3.5 I5. craptacular motor. It had issues.
I cannot add a picture, but 1958 Mercury Montclair Turnpike Cruiser.
There are roads like this all over. Government messed up, someone’s pockets got lined, as usual. Maybe some big business expressed interest, said if there were this or that there, so the local government built, then they went elsewhere. It happens.
Diesel dually with a 4 speed, only 3500? Standard cab? so what. Ride like a wooden wheeled wagon? so what. Even if it has 155k, or even 255k, it’s a diesel. rebuild, keep going. The body looks good, it’s worth it.
Even with 155k on a diesel, that’s not a lot. Old neighbor had an F250 with well over 300k on it (would be around this age, had it not rusted away by now i’m sure) before it was retired to their farm in Missouri.
Toyota.
Starbucks is about as good of coffee as burnt ash in a cup. With water.
