I guess yay to me for living in the midwest, working in small rural town where I can ride to work. The in town bit I do need to watch, but once I’m out, it’s just deer & raccoons that I need to watch out for.
The Pontiac club (POCI) would. All day, every day.
Agreed. Most here are bad ideas. That van is huge, that Jeep can only pull decently if it’s a V8, then MPG sucks. A stripped down new suburban/tahoe might be under 60k. If it’s a big boat, get a truck. 60k will get you a good used diesel because then you can pull it anywhere, and don’t need to worry about getting it…
awesome up to the price.
Just like everyone else, I came here to say the same thing.
I drove the Ford version of this, the fairmont. Drove the wagon and the two door futura. both had the same 200 CID v6. Issues up and down. the wagon would not start below 20F. period. The 2 dorr the only thing that wasn’t replaced on that car was the cruise control. Everything else flaked out. Both burned oil like the…
Try Moline IL. Well, for now. He’s retiring. The three in Davenport were ambushed by “protesters” that lived locally. The office that I speak of was there to do his job, but also help a lot in the community. Got together with an used car place and bought cars for people that truly deserved it.
Civilian: that guy just shot me
can I give you more than one star?
I’m looking at a 455 with only 250 HP. hooray for carburetors! and that was a lot of HP for it’s day.
So, on a different note but the same context, the rioters (NOT protesters!) were also doing the same thing to a trailer full of show horses. The RIOTERS were throwing bricks and such AT THE HORSES IN THE TRAILER who suffered a broken jaw, broken teeth, and several injuries. Driver of this, to protect them, just put…
My uncle, who was a truck driver, and I went for a motorcycle ride. While on this ride, headed in the middle of nowhere, came upon a HUGE road closed ahead sign (covered our side of the road, and staggered, there was another one). He went around them....not paying attention.... had to catch up to him, redirect him to…
Buddy did this as a HS class project. Floorboards and frame were shit, so, it got narrowed, shortened, and now sits on a Fox-body frame, which was also donated.
My Telluride has it. Also has autohold, it’s wierd using them in combination. Every red light, vehilce shuts off, parking brake engages, light turns green, I hit the gas, and look like I’m taking off at a drag strip because of the sudden lurch forward. SO, save a few drops of gas, wear out the starter?
you don’t know that it’s +5 HP for every sticker and porthole? +7 for the hood scoop?
please Please PLEASE...let the back window roll down.
I tried to leave a note in my old car when I traded it off for the next owner. All I had done, what needed to be done, and my email address.
Guy that just retired from the in-laws construction business always kept his truck up. Like eat-off-the-tires clean. Truck currently has 160/170k on it and looks new. It’s a 2013. Had one little noogie in it next to the tailgate and absolutely drove him nuts. He got bed caps put on to hide it.
If nothing else, maybe some parts/pieces can be donated to the Pontiac Museum in Pontiac, IL. I’m sure someone there might even rebuild that rare motor.
