@geolemon: While I agree, theres always going to be specializations, the trackpad I don't see having a spot anywhere. On a laptop its perfect because its part of the machine thats made to be portable, for a desktop? Useless.

@cabjf: I'm sure most people wouldn't want to use a track pad for daily use. Myself included.

Won't happen. You cannot have that kind of system for a desktop. Sure desktop sales will fall for both pc and mac as tablets/phones grow in popularity but a trackpad will always be inferior for editing(i.e. Photoshop/aperture) and gaming.
