I wasn’t talking about how he worked him over after identifying him. But he explicitly said that of the 10, 2 were potential flips and 1 was The Judge. I’d like to know which criteria set those 2 apart.

You either have manipulation skills or you don’t. Reading a book wouldn’t tell you what you want to know.
Empires of EVE came out last year; it chronicles a good deal of EVE as a historical document. I haven’t read it yet, but it sounds fascinating.
I’m sure Aryth would love to help me write one. He’s basically a Bond villain. He told me he self-identifies as Lex Luthor.
I would read a book about how Aryth identified The Judge as a potential defector
I’m sorry, but you seem to have an enormous lack of understanding here.
I disagree, if only because you’re talking about an MMO: these games are meant to mimic real-world politics, alliances, and the like—and while it would be nice if everyone “behaved” within the confines of the game world’s rules, the fact is that alliances, friendships, and bonds will be formed “OOC,” as it were.

Days of repetition and boredom, best Metagame EVER, some pretty good PvP every now and then, days of repetition and boredom.
It’s no different than any other game where you can voice chat in private with specific people. In this case, they were invited by the devs for a night out, and talked about the game. Decided they were done with the BS that was going on and went for it. It was pretty ingenious.
...The Judge.
Well, except that the player that flipped was “The Judge”
But the player’s name is “the Judge.”
I’ve never played this game, but damn, if it is half as good as some of the stories it produces, it should be great. I really enjoy reading these Eve article.
Requisite comment: I love reading about Eve, but god damn I never want to play it.
Yeah it became obvious and jarring though when his battery tip had the EXACT same wording as a different streaming article earlier this week.
The easiest way to to prevent this is a bounty system. The more kills you have, the higher the bounty. You also get a point multiplier for the more kills you gain.
If your life was on the line, most people would be hiding.
I guess it’s good that we don’t have real life bloodsports, but the editorials and commentary on strategies would be awesome if we did.
This is one of the slickest advertisements I’ve ever read.
