I sit at a computer for at least 8+ hours a day. I don’t want anything to do with one when I’m not at work. I just had a 4 day weekend and had no idea what happened in the world (except for hockey signings). It was great.

I had a hockey game where 7 fucking skaters showed up. Playing with two lines sucks bad enough, but two fucking subs? It’s the god damn worst. We stayed competitive until about 2/3 of the way into the second period before exhaustion set in. Also, hockey typically costs $300+ for the season. Show up!

Hockey gear HAS changed over the years. The sweaters are actually tighter fitting since Reebok took over. Same with the socks, going to a lightweight polyester compared to the old, bulky wool ones. Pants have also become sleeker, but I mean, you’re never going to get skin tight because that shit is protecting you from…

The return from some teams for NOT taking players seemed pretty abysmal. Clayton Stoner and Shea Theodore for NOT taking Sami Vatanen? I would have just taken Vatanen. A first for not taking Toby Enstrom? These are high caliber players who are young and good NOW. A draft pick, even a first, is still a crap shoot.
