How was that not a turn? Like...what definition of the word turn doesn’t apply to the motion enacted on Rodgers’ head by the hand of the Lions player?
Clearly it’s not a twist or pull. And the rule is dumb.

Dude...judging by your response, you’re ALREADY annoyed by talking about this issue, and you haven’t been asked about it every day for a week...let alone years.
People’s hypothetical versions of themselves are always sooooo noble, or smart, or reasonable. Meanwhile evidence that those versions are a goddamn lie stare…

That facemask also accounts for the blowing of a 20 pt lead, apparently.
What exactly are the two Lions at the 40 and 45 yd lines doing?
“Article 5 No player shall twist, turn, or pull the facemask of an opponent in any direction.”
Intent does not matter.
Severity does not matter.
The only way the call is wrong, is if Rodgers’ facemaks is not turned by the lineman.
Like 90% of the NFL’s rules. The ref didn’t blow it. The rule is poorly written.
PS- If you…
