There is always one weird nurse and one awesome nurse. It’s like any other profession- some are amazing, most are average, and a few are not great, or you catch them on a bad day. I have a lot of respect for the work they do. A couple less than great experiences with nurses doesn’t change that.

I know they like to reduce the charges to increase the likelyhood of a conviction, but when someone tries to set a person on fire and they call it arson it strikes me as ridiculous.

My experience with nurses has been overwhelmingly positive. I’ve had one nightmare experience and a couple of unpleasant experiences, but they were definitely in the minority.

Lots of nurses become nurses for the money as well. It was drilled into me in high school the high demand for nurses, the job security, and the potential for enormous overtime which catapults one’s salary. I certainly have former classmates who went into the profession for those very reasons.

So many nurses are saints; they literally do the heavy lifting; they catch errors in combined perscriptions; they are the ones to whom patients turn for emotional support and actual understanding of diagnoses in the face of distant/rushed doctors. And they are paid next to nothing. There are many and varied reasons…

It’s a bit difficult for a woman to initiate a divorce in Iran - however, this could fall under the provision that failure to provide “maintenance” to the wife, or provide for her needs, is grounds for divorce.
