If you’re interested in knowing (at least partially) why that’s the case, there’s a really good book called Not In My Neighborhood that talks about how Baltimore became so racially segregated with redlining and blockbusting, etc.

I’ve come up with a list of various organizations to donate to, and every paycheck I’m just going down the list, contributing what I can. That’s how I’m handling the overwhelming amount of messed up all of this is while still trying to do as much impact as I am able.
