People who are commenting on the reliability of theirs may not realize yours was a Mazdaspeed6. Totally different power and drivetrain from any of the other Mazda6's. The normal Mazda6s’ were reliable. The Mazdaspeed6 was rather notorious for issues.

I got a Mazda6 V6 6MT of this generation as a wedding gift from my dad in 2012. He told me it was a “drivers car”, which it kinda was? It wasn’t bad, but quality wise, it wasn’t great. Especially after being rear ended by someone in traffic.
