I remember Kingdoms of Amalur was out around the same year or so of Dragon’s Dogma and Skyrim. I was super excited about it, and thought I’d enjoy it the most.

It ended up being the worst. But I did find out that I really loved a lot of Dragon’s Dogma, and that informs a lot of my current day opinions on game mechanics.

Sometimes, even when you reproduce bugs, it can take a long time figuring out what part of the game is causing it. And often times it isn’t simple to just throw in break points or even print logs. They have an almost quantum aspect to them where they disappear when you try and observe them from a debug perspective.

I’m gonna do some more research on this, but I think you might have sold me on WWE 2k20

Aren’t Persona games basically dating sims with RPG dungeon breaks in between anyways?

Unfortunately I do not know specific details. I wasn’t working on the shipping/publishing aspects, so I would have never been working on something like this.

What exactly was popping up as spyware? I’ve heard Easy Anti Cheat sometimes registers as Spyware, but that is the same Anti-Cheat software that Fortnite and Apex Legends use (And I’ve seen those being shown as false positives in cursory google searches as well).

Full disclosure: I am a developer who worked on Breach.

These kind of games are unsustainable. Not unsustainable for KC and LA, but unsustainable for the NFL. There are just so many talented offensive minded Head Coaches, and so many QBs who can play like that. I’m worried it will become like the NBA, where if you don’t have one of those guys, then you aren’t gonna sniff a

I was scarred when I was younger playing Warcraft 2 for a similar reason. I was playing a multiplayer map against a bunch of Computers, but I didn’t realize they played differently from the AI in the campaign. So there I was, slowly and surely building my base. WHEN SUDDENLY! An entire army just walks my way and

Wait, Dana isn’t the girl at the end.

Prayers Up. I really hope Mike gets well soon. I would also like to say that its been a joy to read his content, and I hope he continues to make great content for years to come.

“Monkey” has been gaining in use over the last 2 years in League of Legends. I think the first player who started using it a lot was Korean player Rush when talking about his Danish teammate. A lot of speculation is that this usage is an extrapolation of the European flame of calling people “boosted animals”.

A lot of

He’s 27. Now he may be “young” in that he probably doesn’t have the diverse cultural experience to know the impact of just throwing around the n-word, but he isn’t exactly a fresh player out of high school. He’s been a big time Dota player for years.

How is OWL so fucked up when other eSports scenes (most notably NA and EU LCS) aren’t nearly this bad? It almost feels like this kind of drama is build into the scene.

The header art, and a few of the other black and white pieces, definitely feel like they could have been in the Warcraft II manual. Ah, some nice memories.

Now this is the one that really pisses me off. I’ve lived in Florida, which has a bit of BBQ, and now Texas, which has tons of BBQ. But still people will say, “We’re having BBQ tomorrow!” and it’s just burgers and hot dogs. But I really wanted some brisket or pulled pork.

Have you ever, once in your life, had anyone threaten to kill you? Or even just threaten to shoot you? I had someone threaten me like that even though I knew they were just crazy and they were bluffing. It is still frightening. He could have had a gun, and if he had it he could have decided to use it.

I says he has

Sometimes gamers can be so spoiled. Its an early access game. Resets like this happen. In fact, sometimes they have to happen to update the game.

I didn’t realize this when watching yesterday, but it did seem like some of the map was underwater. This is kind of disappointing, because it seemed pretty cool looking. Ah well.

A Nintendo ran league is an interesting discussion. League of Legend’s Riot ran League is pretty popular, but on more than one occasion they have seen criticism for their competitive decisions and monopoly on the scene. I’m not sure how Nintendo getting involved would be a much better situation.

There is a never ending supply of people who want to be on TV, people who want to make video games, and people who want to play in big sporting events.

Good content creators don’t just make content that people watch, they keep people interested and coming back to the platform. Otherwise people might just use twitter
