There are a lot of comments on here about how terrible this looks, (and my first thought is to agree). However, I was thinking about slow roads near congested pedestrian/bike areas (like a city lake or a park), where the speed limit is only 25 (or even 20). This seems like it could work in an area like that... “could”

Not to mention, the exterior photos you can see the standard wheel through the windshield, so good chance those were taken before the salvage incident.

Like this 1 of 700 “007" version... I mean, it is dripping with special. :)

Honest question, does that crowd actually like these though? I mean, I know every car has a few people that obsess over it, but I don’t think I’ve heard of anyone that really loved this.

It is a nice motor, I just would much prefer the manual with it. If you like auto, then I’m glad you enjoy it!

Right, but sedan only. I was referring to the wagon. (At least I’m 90% sure the wagon never offered those).

Yeah, I remember that.. but I think the v6 in the wagon (even with the auto) would have been a good match.

Agree on both points... would have been great with a manual, but likely no money to be made there. Also, the 6 cyl they used in later TSXs could have been nice in the wagon. (I don’t think they ever offered the 6 in the wagon anyway).

I’ve always liked these too... but think that 2.4L 4 needs the manual to be more enjoyable (only sedan of course). Also, pretty sure the TSX got a 6 cylinder later in life and that would have been good in the wagon.

From a completely subjective point of view (mine), I think this VR6 is unique, special, sounds good and therefore fun. Would have been amazing to drop in my Golf R when I had it. I use “fun” and “interesting” because it’s not the same thing that 90% (yes I made up that number) of what other people use. If you prefer

Although I completely agree with this as way more interesting than an LS... I can’t fault the people that still want the LS swap. I would imagine the cost alone is going to be the biggest factor, but also support and help to swap in an LS in nearly any car already exists. Again, I completely agree this would be more

I don’t know, it sounded pretty good to me in that clip.

I’m not suggesting that this is the only reason, (as others have pointed out other causes in the comments), but I believe that the focus on improving the safety of vehicles instead of better driving is one cause. That is, instead of focusing on making everyone better drivers, we’ve spent all our energy on making the

Nailed it... and if you are going to ask this high of a price for a near 40 year old car, clean up the engine bay. I can’t be bothered to use a fricken hose, but the rest of the car is definitely worth it!?!?!

good call.

I agree, but I also bet there are 350 die hard Camaro guys/gals out there that will buy these.

That makes sense.

I get that, and certainly there are a small number of people that would. But again, in my mind a Gen Xer that is an enthusiast wants the better spec, and a non-enthusiast wouldn’t want a 30 year old car.  Post is gone so maybe it got scooped right up.

I went ND as well, because of your comment of the number of people interested. I just couldn’t imagine who would really be in the market for this. (Not the right version for an enthusiast, and far too old for someone who just wants reliable transportation). Still presents in good shape and solid price, just one with a

I agree with your comment, but I went a reluctant ND. My reason was I just couldn’t think of who would like this? I mean, it’s too old to be a car for someone that just wants reliable transportation, but it’s not the right version for an enthusiast. Tough call for me.
