She was in Grumpier Old Men, too. Sophia Loren’s mother.
In my world, the headline would substitute “Dick Van Dyke’s” for “The Nanny’s”. She was in the sequel “Grumpier Old Men” as Sophia Loren’s mother and I saw her in other shows on TV. She was great. I’m trying to find the Dick Van Dyke show clip of the episode where “nosy” Laura has tried to convince everyone that she…

I’m a fundamentalist and I approve this message. If you are strong in your faith, another person’s faith or lack of faith does not threaten you. I would add you also need love and compassion. Man, how I HATE people who don’t love. They are the WORST. Why, they....oh, nevermind.
Assholeois?
TONS of people! In all cultures around the world. The reality is sex CAN have negative consequences. It doesn’t have to if you take proper precautions. At the very least, you’ll probably be exposed to some form of HPV, at least three of which can cause cancer. Sorry, got to get my plug in about that. I have a form…
Totally. As a former pro-life activist (in the 80s & 90s), I can tell you that they DO care about the baby. But most of them, as you say, about it more in spirit or theory than in action. MOST of them aren’t in touch with the “Why”. The vast majority of the loud people you see on TV and in the news are just parroting…

His really work was in the late 1970s and 1980s. His big break was Brideshead Revisited mini-series in England. He did The French Lieutenant’s Woman. He’s won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Claus Von Bulow in Reversal of Fortune and a New York Film Critics Choice Award for Dead Ringers where he…
Prince of Thieves made me an Alan Rickman fan. He and Sean Connery’s entrance were the only good things in that movie.
I thought the same thing. I’ll have to see the movie in the hopes it has an actual ending. I need closure.
“Law & Order” already did this one. A few times.
Yep, who died of botulism, dysentery, etc. And they liked it!
Hi, I posted above about the story “Herland” by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, published in 1915. It’s about how GREAT their man-less society was. And like the mockumentary, women can make babies with no input from men. It’s apparently called parthenogenesis.
The idea of women being able to get pregnant without any input from men whatsoever, is part of the plot of Herland (1915) by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. (most famous for the short story “Yellow Wallpaper”). I don’t know if it was the first story of its kind.
You people need to be more open-minded. If this were an Asian delicacy you’d be all over that shit.
