Thank you! I watched it and thought they were judging this woman harshly. They seemed to assume she was thinking rationally in that very high-stress situation. I kept expecting someone to say, “Wait. What do you even mean? What do I even mean? None of this makes sense. Are we speaking the English?”

After all these years, validation! It took me a little while to figure out why I loved this movie when no around me did. I read superhero comics when I was a little girl in the 60s. I realized the movie was like a comic book. And I was glad.

I”ve read and re-read my copy many times. I like the “Maurice Sendak” edition the best.

Yeah, I thought “Boy, they turned that “one of first characters to die is black” horror meme on its head. The ONLY survivors were black. I like to think they did it on purpose.

How could anyone not like a movie with “Little bastard shot me in the ass!” in it. or “These are simple people. People of the clay. You know, morons.”

Yep, Fall 1977 I started college. I was a lot more fashionable back then than I am now. My brown, corduroy jumper (not gaucho, a dress) and my cream colored cowl neck sweater with my feathered hair was my favorite look that year.

Glenn is also a moral compass. He’ll kill walkers all day long, but has to decide whether or not he should kill a human. In the season opener when Morgan told Rick, “That’s not who you are” I thought of Glenn.

I agree with you. I think it’s Carl’s tree girl. Mostly because they included her in next week’s trailer wandering around alone, like she’s left Alexandria.

That guy has a great face. Good bone structure and eyes.

You have to damage their brain stem somehow. Setting them on fire just creates fiery walkers.
