That’s actually interesting. I visualize something like showing up to the airport and instead of reporting to a gate and waiting, passengers report rigiht to their “travel pod” to check in, etc, then a forklift loads the pods into airplanes and removed upon arrival.

but having the ability to change airplane configuration by just running a floor conveyor belt system would save airlines a lot of money given that the demand changes regularly for their passenger and freight services.
