Cruz actually knows how climate change works.  He’s being entirely disingenuous because he knows that he can personally benefit from denial.

Any beachfront property is just a rental from Mother Nature.  I rented a beach house in Delaware for a week one summer and while I enjoyed it, it was stunning how much stuff they invested in keeping right there on the beach, where it was inevitably going to be reclaimed.  Don’t people know how beaches are formed?

Theoretically if my wife and I were greater fools we could be.  There’s a lot better things to spend money on though.

Finally another legendary Kempf.

Impossible to tell you meant the little m with the capitalization was so inconsistent elsewhere. If you had to be pedantic a link would have been sufficient; the literal meaning of mediterranean is clear enough, though.

Okay so what is this northern Mediterranean you speak of?

I’m sure it works for some people but there's such a disconnect to me. You can't complain about a player's trust and loyalty when you've given neither to him.

There’s already fascists instigating street fights in Portland, so it’s not like they are some theoretical threat.

I don’t think his X’s and O’s are a problem but we’re not paying him for that. He’s got to put together a team with the talent he has. He’s mentioned before that he can’t wait to have “his guys” but the ugly truth is that you don’t get the guys you want, you get the guys who sign the dotted line. And looking at his

I hate how the Patriots are so loathsome it tarnishes every other Boston team. I'm a Bruins fan and a Colts fan and it drives me nuts that people will see me wearing a Bruins shirt and start talking smack about a team that I also hate.

He somehow has a bunch of people convinced that he’s a great coach because he sounds like the jerks who are. He does at least give players assistance getting cleared when they leave.

I don’t at all blame him for making fun of the coaches.  Look at the job they’ve done.  Pruitt’s entire skill set is yelling convincingly.

Texas has made it impossible to do anything without driving 10 miles. It’s “freedom” except you are spending all of your time in your car driving not because you want to, but because you have to.

You don’t do it in New York.

Or the same ethnicity, just black, in the case of Balotelli.

It’s completely within the realm of current technology to have the judgement done almost instantaneously by refs watching the video remotely. They just don’t want to seem like they are undermining the refs at the venue, and naturally the refs have no incentive to make it look convenient.

The author doesn’t have other Apple products, so it wouldn’t be any easier to use than the Jabra Elite, which has superior isolation and sound quality. The only conceivable technical advantage of the AirPods is their ease of use with other Apple products.

In the case of Volvo, it’s more of a case of a Chinese company (Geely) buying a western brand and moving manufacturing to China.

Uber loses money on every ride at the moment anyway, so what's more money down the drain?

If you write for a tech website, you know there are far better alternatives, especially if you don’t have any other Apple products.
