$60 is a lot of money but it's a bargain for a AAA game in 2019. It's not even the devs who get the spoils when a game succeeds, anyway, so why take your anger out on them?

I don't even work in game development and I feel the same way about customer interaction for my own products.  In some way it helps me to continue having a good opinion if the end user if I assume they're benevolent rather than have it confirmed that they are not.
