I’m pretty sure he hired foreign contractors and never looked at the code, if I’m being really honest.

I’m not sure he knows much about either side, to be honest. Wouldn't a front end developer be used to authenticating on public API calls?
No kidding. Meanwhile some of my classmates thought I had a lot of pressure because my parents expected me to get into a college with a good amount of funding. Pretty low bar in comparison.
Even when I was applying 20 years ago, there were enough applicants with a 1600 on the SAT at Harvard to fill every open slot available. It’s only gotten worse, but the reason they knew to put that 3 year old in golf lessons was that it was already so bad.
I don’t even know that the professors care that much. If it’s a high ranking professor, they’re there mostly for research and will do enough teaching to keep administration off their backs. If they are there mostly for teaching, they don’t have as much power in the school as the students who pay the bills.
If you can pay the fees, you can get a great education if you actually put in the effort at these schools, or you can use them almost entirely for their prestige without putting in a serious effort. It’s not like state schools where if you can’t keep up they cut you loose.
Imagine where Rutgers would be now if Greg Schiano had never coached there.
Some doctors in California have made good business from selling medical exemptions.

Probably afraid of the wrath of the arch conservative Board of Trustees and trying to find a way to thread the needle.
Despite the lack of tournament success, plenty of good men’s basketball has been played there and there’s been good fan support since at least the 70s.
Only if you get the ball first.
It’s at a church, not on public land.
What would you choose as the central issue for a presidential platform?
That reminds me of something.
The “Duke of Provence” would be the King of France, unless it was being used for a royal heir, as it was with the last Comte de Provence, Louis XVIII. I have no idea what supposed title this guy has.
You might get a bit of pressure from the mother to do chores and clean bottles in the free time you have between feedings as well. She’s not going to be happy about watching you sleep.
Considering their origin stories as nationalist super soldiers it’s a good match.
