I’ll take the bait. Are you referring (as an example) the Redskins? Fair, that’s a term that was deemed offensive to Native Americas and it was rightfully retired.

Appreciating other cultures is slowly becoming illegal. Keep this up and foreign representation will be erased from all media, and new generations will think the whole world is American. Is that what we want?
I’d bet that a lot of the “outrage” came from people not of that culture who are “outraged on behalf of them”.
Ssssh, just let the white people be offended on your behalf
I’m a boring white dude so I readily admit my opinion doesn’t matter here but it seems to be more harmless and cute than racist. I wouldn’t get offended if they let you tack on shamrocks and leprechaun hats onto emotes for St. Patrick’s day either.
No. Someone was offended on behalf of you. God people are fucking stupid.
As a Hispanic person (though not Mexican), please let me say - those emotes are totally, totally fine.
I’m Mexican and I’d like to say that I think it’s rad if you wanna put on a sombrero and drink large margaritas sometimes. It’s okay honestly.
The writing was alright — at times. The game play was boring all the time. I spend these types of games looting everything in sight, and there was almost nothing of use in any chest, and nothing of interest in any store. The perks did nothing to enhance or change the game play as my character leveled up, and the poor…
“Good, but not great” is actually a great way of describing this game, and that’s precisely why I say it is unremarkable. If this were just a run-of-the-mill effort by some random team, I would have no problem with it. But this was helmed by Cain and Boyarsky, both of whom worked on some of the greatest CRPGs of all…
Sure, dude. I disliked the game’s writing, so obviously I didn’t “get” the jokes. Please.
Every time I read about this game, I laugh when I think about the relentless “real Fallout/Fallout killer” circle jerk that permeated the internet and Reddit upon its reveal, leading all the way up to release. And of course, that more or less vanished after people got their hands on it.
Given how poor the writing in Outer Worlds was, this almost seems like an improvement, even though it is STILL quite bad. I am still sore over the fact that a game helmed by Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky managed to be this unremarkable. Yet another evidence of how crucial good writing is to RPGs like this, I suppose.
Incredible. The people that are all on board with the “Free shit” campaign are too lazy to get off their fucking asses and vote...shocking, absolutely shocking.
See, many of these comedians have said things that humorless cancel culture types find offensive, and the only answer is to CANCEL them and ruin their careers. Mostly, it hasn’t worked(fortunately), and that’s what she’s referring to(bitterly, I might add).
Exactly. People want to keep the benefits but outsource the guilt of their lifestyles.
I really hate when people say “what can I do, it’s all the big corporations’ fault”, as if the big corps aren’t just responding to consumer demand. It's literally the only thing that drives them
Do you people really sit around and get all hot and bothered about any remotely demeaning social movement not portrayed to your liking in media, such as in Persona 5 in this case? Does it truly, deeply upset you? Seriously? Stop and think about it. Are you really that sensitive, self-certain, and arrogant to believe…
Look... I get it, Bezos has far too much money and income inequality is bullshit and Amazon workers are treated like shit. That’s shitty.
Fucking Bernie Bros. How dare they make working on Warren’s campaign team an unlivably racist, sexist nightmare. Assholes.
