There are still a few reasons to play Overwatch, namely the special events. Otherwise, it’s become crap through and through. I’m guessing the playerbase has shrunk considerably.

Expecting the last person who chooses their hero in a comp match to pick a healer, then whining when they don’t, is lame. I don’t like quick play because there’s nothing at stake. At least in comp there’s rank - which I don’t really care about either - making my last point moot.

E-sports aren’t going to blow up the way real sports have. There’s some money to be made, sure, but these theoretical billions people are expecting to make don’t exist.
