Yes, when I first got my sammy 55" I was ready to take it back cause the hz was causing that lag you mentioned (and i couldn't shoot anyone, ha!). But I realized it had a game mode where it turns off the hz, so problem was solved. I believe all HD 120+hz tvs have this option now.

I know what you mean. I have a sammy 55" 120 hz now and the movies almost seem 3d without a 3d tv. You certainly get use to it though and after a while watching it without hz seems like you are not getting the full experience.

Thanks for the tip. The only reason why I've avoided those projectors are that the bulbs are just so damn expensive to replace. They don't last very long either. No thanks to paying $300-$400 everytime I need a new light bulb.

Thinking about getting that Sharp 70" LED 120 hz LCD today for $2K. The 240 hz is $2700. Imagine gaming on that puppy. Saw both models at costco over the weekend and the 240 hz looked a ton better but I don't know if that warrants another $700...
