I was thinking about picking this up. I heard the singleplayer campaign was really short. I'm not interested in MP for this type of game.

I agree and have done this in past iterations a ton. Its really all about moving within one small area and just taking down those coming directly at you.

I'm not complaining about camping at all. Its a valid strategy. My beef is that they tried to combat camping with that map design and I think it backfired on em.

See, I tend to disagree. Having to cover 6 choke points tends to make a player camp even more.

Wrong. In MW3, map designs are not great, there are 6 choke points to cover unllike other iterations where you can hold down one choke point and move up.

Funny how MW3's key to success is camping. Maps are so shittly designed that you can tuck yourself in a nice corner with the assassin perk turned on and just pick off the enemies that come by. One after another.

Yep. Those BF3 fanboys won't admit that though.

THIS. I'm in the same boat. MW3 is just fast at matchmaking and you can go in and out in a quick press of a button. Not so much in BF3.

Sweet link to those stats. I wonder what determines gun rank towards the end of the chart. It says the ACR 6.8 is the number 1 gun overall....... wonder how they determine that.

After picking up MW3 day one, I was kinda pist that the maps were such a mess. Constantly shot in the back. Kind of felt like there were 10 different points on your screen to cover in every single map.

Do you think Skyrim and / or UC3 will be discounted? Because its a pretty good deal with both for about $90

That worries me. All these other games are already consuming me, not enough time in the day!
