the benz looks like it’s melting.

Preferences are personal of course, but hard disagree on that. The Volvo is much more refined looking, it’s understated but still moderately aggressive. The Benz is attractive to people who already like their design language but I just don’t see it.

I’m admittedly biased since I am a Volvo owner, but I would happily throw myself into debt if they ever brought back the C30 with their current design language. Make the turbo 4 the base engine at about 200-240hp (similar to the I5 output of the last gen) and offer a PHEV option. Hell, I would even be happy with a V40

I don’t think the legal department was consulted before that statement was made public. If you trespass and leave personal property on the land where you are trespassing, the land owner isn’t illegally in possession of your property.

This!

I was wondering who got paid off and how much in the Disney Fox deal to let that merger go thru.

I am against monolplys, but this isn't one. Sprint and T-Mobile merged is still less than Verizon and ATT separately. Disney is a way bigger issue and they gave no fucks.

Why is Gizmodo/Univision on such a campaign against this merger? It seems like there are posts very frequently about how it’s the worst thing to ever happen to cell phone carriers.

Danny and Jon both run to the Throne and try to sit on it at the same time.  The both fall off and end up sitting the floor.  Danny smiles, says “Oh, you...”, Jon shrugs and smiles, then the theme from Growing Pains plays.  Fin.

This seems like textbook money grubbing from a tragedy.

Good for MoviePass. You have to look at this from their point of view; had they kept all those subscribers, they would have lost a ton more money.

It was JD Salinger’s Most Reliable award.

A Jag will never strand you on a highway... they just won’t start in your driveway.

I feel like some people here in the comments need to find a better bank. I exclusively use credit unions, and in the past 8 years I’ve had fraud charges show up twice at my current CU, and they notified me of the charges, refunded me the money that day, and had a new card to me within a couple days.

The source website listed the used cars as “lightly used”. What criteria did they use to determine what fell in this category for their analysis?  Year? Mileage? That’s either a rather large omission or I’m just missing it.

No one’s died of cancer or a heart attack or anything like that, either. Not even a car accident or...I don’t know...a fucking staph infection.

Even Stephen King devoted an entire chapter of The Stand to NON-PLAGUE RELATED WAYS SOME PEOPLE DIED. C’mon TWD.

AND no characters seem to have any health issues. I've been waiting years for someone to say "ouch my arthritic knee hurts"  or "my eyesight is getting blurry, must be time for new glasses". No everybody's perfectly healthy!

I don’t want to live on a planet where gif is pronounced jiff

You’d think Gizmodo would discourage the use of a soft G wherever possible lest they be confused with an entirely different kind of site.
